🌊 Top Dive Sites near Gili Meno🌊
- Halik Reef – Known for its stunning coral formations, excellent visibility, and abundant marine life. Located on the northwest coast of the island, Halik offers a gentle slope descending to about 24 meters, making it ideal for both beginner and advanced divers.
- Turtle City – One of Gili Meno’s most iconic dive sites, famous for its high population of green and hawksbill sea turtles. Featuring vibrant coral pinnacles, sandy patches, and gentle currents — therefore it is ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike.
- Hans Reef – A popular dive site for beginners, underwater photographers, and SSI courses. This site is a beginners and macro lover’s paradise, home to nudibranchs, pipefish, frogfish, seahorses, and also octopus.
- Bounty Wreck – A dive site ideal for beginners and fun divers, offering calm conditions, good visibility, and plenty to explore. Divers often spot, for example, batfish, snappers, clownfish, lionfish, and the occasional turtle or octopus around the wreck structure. Featuring the sunken remains of a floating dock, that is now covered in vibrant soft corals, sponges, and teeming with marine life.
- Gili Meno Wall – Renowned for its stunning vertical reef wall and frequent sea turtle sightings. The wall drops from about 5 to 30 meters, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced divers. This dive site is home to a rich variety of marine life, including green and hawksbill turtles, parrotfish, and a colourful array of nudibranchs and crustaceans hiding in crevices.

Not ready to dive? No problem. Snorkelling in Gili Meno is just as magical. Right from the shore, you can explore coral gardens, swim alongside green sea turtles, and simultaneously enjoy pristine reef life.
